Sure, the idea that life is meaningless is a bummer, but what’s cooler than staring into the infinite darkness of a universe unconcerned with our existence and saying, “Whatevs yo, you do you! The world is falling apart, but we brought beers!”

The new walking away from explosions is shrugging at the realisation that there is no inherent meaning in anything. Just because we’re all doomed doesn’t mean we can’t throw a party.
