If you’re interested in social housing, fire safety, and journalism, we’d like to invite you to join us – and the journalism faculty at Griffith College – for a chat with Peter Apps, an award-winning reporter and editor for UK-based Inside Housing.
Even if Apps isn’t on your radar yet, you’ve likely read or heard about some of his stories. Inside Housing has been recognised for its dogged coverage of social housing and fire safety – and, in particular, the Grenfell Tower tragedy and regulatory failures.

Apps was Journalist of the Year at the British Journalism Awards for Specialist Media in 2018. He was also shortlisted for the Orwell Prize for Journalism in 2019, getting a special mention from the judges.
