This cover is an homage to my daily commute along the Luas’ red line. I moved from the countryside into the city centre during my first year of college and the novelty of such a quick, convenient mode of transport was amazing to me.

I look back and laugh at myself for being so afraid to be caught out without a ticket however, as I lost my Leap card frequently. A small amount of the mountain of Luas tickets I collected can be seen in the background of this drawing.

My name is Órlaith Conlon and I’m an illustrator with a love for nature, people-watching and collage. If you are interested in seeing more of my work you can find me on instagram on @orlaith.co.art, or for commissions you can reach me at orlaith.conlo14@gmail.com.
