While the pace of the asylum process has picked up for many applicants, the services helping them to make their cases have lacked the resourcing to keep up.
This is Roger Casement captured in a spotlight from the new Dún Laoghaire Baths during one of my runs in the January storms. Casement lived in nearby Sandycove, and the statue’s a fitting tribute. It reminded me there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad preparation!
