But a spokesperson for the charity said the position articulated by its deputy chief operations officer at a council meeting recently is not its current policy.
The cover this month was inspired by Dubliners adapting and struggling with the ‘new normal’ of living in quarantine. Many are working from home or are unemployed and stuck in their apartments. Many rentals, although over-priced, are cramped and too small for the number of people living there. The entire country is struggling with the various stages of lockdown, but it‘s especially difficult for those in cramped, substandard living conditions.
I’m a freelance illustrator and graphic designer based in Dublin. I am particularly interested in all aspects of design, the environment and social issues. I spend most of my spare time drawing, taking photographs, gardening, compulsively buying esoteric books online and taking selfies in new clothes I’ve bought, which I intend on returning the following week.
