1. Are you for or against the elimination of the local property tax?

In favour. The tax is regressive and targets homeowners, primarily in Dublin, whose homes may still be in negative equity or who don’t have the income they once did. The Sinn Féin led alliance on South Dublin County Council proposed lowering it by the max 15 percent for the last 2 years.

2. Are you for or against repealing the 8th Amendment?

In favour of repealing the 8th Amendment. This is Sinn Féin party policy.

3. Are you for or against the creation of a directly elected mayor for the Dublin area, with greater powers over, housing, transport and revenue raising?

In favour of a democratically elected mayor.

4. Who should be responsible for setting minimum apartment standards: local authorities or the national government?

Local authorities. I entered a motion into our development plan to increase minimum build sizes by 15 square feet. Central government guidelines can overturn this though, which I completely disgree with.

5. Are you for or against ending religious patronage of all schools?

In favour of ending religious patronage in schools.

6. Are you for or against the provision of medically supervised injection centres in Dublin?

I support this.
